Think Green

This new collection came about by way of my artist friend MJ who introduced me to the idea of Recycling and Tumbling broken wine bottles. After learning the techniques I now have a "mass" of glass ready to be incorporated into beautiful one of kind Art Jewelry pieces. The process mimics naturally found Beach Glass, but you get to be "Green" by recycling and creating it yourself.

In my creations, I have incorporated along with the glass, Precious Metal Clay (PMC) and the Art of Keum-boo. PMC is a clay which contains Fine Silver Dust joined with an organic binder. This clay can be molded, stamped and shaped into any form, dried, then fired in the kiln. The remaining product is pure Fine Silver. Keum-boo is an Ancient Korean Gilding Techinique in which you fuse 24kt Gold Foil to Fine Silver.

The design possibilities are endless and each piece is Artistically Unique and a One of Kind Creation.
