Note: This is my
"final" featured artist event at the guild as I have
decided to leave this venue after 4 years. If you have
ever wanted to come by the shop, now is the time. My
work will continue to be shown there only until December
30, 2008.

Spacetaker,
a cultural arts organization, host of the Winter Holiday
Art Market (WHAM), is giving local artists the chance to
showcase their work to the general public at the Winter
Holiday Art Market. The sale will take place the weekend of
December 5-7, 2008, the weekend after Thanksgiving at
Winter Street Studios. The event is a three day affair,
kicking off on Friday night from 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. with
pre-shopping, a DJ, food and drinks. Saturday the sale will
begin at 12:00 p.m. and continue until 8:30 p.m., food and
libation will be provided for happy hour. The final day,
Sunday, the market will be open from noon to 5:00 p.m. with
a Champagne brunch. Sponsors for this year’s art market
include Silver Eagle, Red Bull, 002Houston, Barefoot Wine,
Beaver’s Ice House, and El Patio.
