HGMS Chasing and Repousse' Class

I am busy learning a new technique through Houston Gem and Mineral Society with Val Link called Repousse' and Chasing. This will add interesting dimension to my jewelry craft. The first part of our class we are actually making our own chasing tools, so when we get a bit farther I hope to have pictures to post. You can see the process as we learn it.
There is actually an example of this type of work on the Hanson Galleries website for American Craft Week. One of the artists, Anke Bohmer, who entered the Spotlight on Metals show has created a belt buckle. Check it out at Hanson Galleries Website
